Abstracts should be prepared in Word format and may include Tables, Schemes, Figures, and references, within one page only. , indicating the preferred mode of presentation. Please note that an accepted abstract will only be included in the final programme of ICPOC 2008 if the presenting author has formally registered, and paid his registration fee.
General instructions for abstract format: - Times New Roman font (symbol font for special characters), with single spacing throughout.
- Boldface font (size 14) for the abstract title (title + 14 pt, not small caps)
- One blank line between abstract title and authors’ names
- Normal font (size 12) for authors’ names (BB_author_name + Times New Roman, 12 pt)
- Presenting author underlined (BB_author_name + Times New Roman, 12 pt, underline)
- One blank line between authors’ names and affiliations
- Italic font for affiliations (size 12, Normal + Italic), distinguished by superscript numbers if necessary
- Italic font for e-mail address of presenting author (size 10, hyperlink)
- One blank line between address and the beginning of the abstract
- Normal font (size 12) for main text
- Normal font (size 12) for references, placed at the end of the abstract (according to JACS)
- Maximum usable area for abstracts: 16.0 cm wide and 24.0 cm high
- For figure/schemes please use ACS 1996 document settings if possible (ChemDraw): Chain Angle 120°, Bond Spacing 18% of length; Fixed length 0,508 cm, Bold Width 0.071 cm, Line Width 0.021 cm; Captions and Atom Labels: Helvetica 10 pt. All structures should be numbered and referred to as 1, 2, 3,
